End of the summer!
Hello World,
Been a while since I lasted posted but I been busy tryna get myself together for the upcoming semester. Lot of good things on the horizon for this year and I'm ready for it to start. Summer has been hella long but has given me a lot of time to do things I havent been able to do and also learn more about myself. Luckily, me and shawty still together after plenty of ups and downs. I've grown as an individual and my patience has gotten better. Become more humble and better at being positive. my positivity is what draws people to me and I always willing to share so good. But school is right around the corner and now is the time to get into grind mode and get back on my shyt. Enjoyed the summer and still going to continue doing so. This year I'm more focused and ready for whatever. If you need some inspiration just look at my resume haha...

Hello World,
TGIF Yes!!Its Friday and i dont have anything to do...At all! Been a while since i last posted but i been doing other things. Chilling mainly but just dabbling in a lil bit of everything. Me and Shawty still hanging tough and we still in it to win. That takes a lot of patience, and effort. But hey, we still here and stronger than ever. School starts in 2 weeks exactly. Very excited about this upcoming year and cant wait to see wha new things will occur and can happen. Really to tell you the truth i'm actually ready to hit the books and study and stuff like that. Crazy thought right! i know but my summer has been pretty mild, havent done much cause there isnt much to do in Asheville. i try to make the best of my time but normally it results in me laying on the couch or something. but real talk i'm out and will have a lil more to talk about later when i have a clearer mind and stable thoughts. i'm a thinker and my mind jams when i cant come wih a correct solution. but it will only get better and i am ready.

Life?

This is a little quote i had ran across while twitting today. It was so appropiate and felt i should share with others.
i totally agree with the quote in every sense because life is not to be solved. If life were solved we'd all be dead. Our lives have already been planned out by God and only he knows who, what, when, and how our life will turn out. It is up to us as humans to find out what he has in store for us which is the mystery. I chase the mystery everyday looking for new ways to live right and keep focused.

Something- Drake
Well as I was starting my day this morning I had put a certain song on repeat by Drake called Something, which is off the HeartBreak Drake pt 2 mixtape. And in it he speaks on how something that you thought was good and was working to your advantage could actually be nothing at all. This statement is so true, especially towards a relationship. You hope and pray that the one your with is the right one and you invest all your time into that one person giving them your all, hoping that its all worth it in the aftermath. But sometimes things happen, I mean its life and they say good things dont last forever. But in my case i feel the total opposite because a good thing can last forever if you put forth the time and effort and have a good understanding of what the both want out of the relationship. I've been in relationships that at the end it wasnt worth it but it taught me something that i could change and use in my next relationship. In my current relationship I'm happy and comfortable and I feel that it can go far because we have a close understanding and we click very well on many different levels. We are like Best friends. And this relationship is "Something" and I focus on continuing to make it something more than just words.

Hello World,
With 2nd semester right around the corner, its time for me to start getting focused on the bigger picture. Whats the bigger picture you may ask? Well its my goal to have everything that I set out to do this year work to my favor. I'm making changes in my life everyday, mostly to benefit my future and some to benefit my right now. But all decisions have an affect and hopefully all mines will make quality impacts on myself and others around me.
Setting goals is the first key to success and i have plenty goals. Some are near and others are far but nonetheless i am set on accomplishing them all. I often talk with my shawty about goals that I have and she also shares them with me. That is the second step to reaching a goal. Telling others your vision. You cant do everything on your own, some things may need help from others and the more people you tell the better your chances are of reaching because they will support you. But you just cant tell everyone your goals because there are HATERS out there that will try to bring you down and break you apart from your goal. Keeping your head straight and on the right path eliminates this problem. And also telling others your goals hold you to it. Its like your giving them your word that you will accomplish this that and the other. Just a few words of wisdom for the day. I'm focused on changing my life for the better and living right from here on out. Are you focused?

Asheville...[828]
Hello World,
Its a lovely day and i woke up feeling real good this morning so i decided to blog a little bit before i start my day off. Waking up in a town like this i great cause the views you have are very revealing. The city is in a bowl surrounded by mountains so every turn you see mountains and great views. In charlotte you see nothing like this at all, i forgot how beautiful Asheville was living in charlotte. i love/hate my city, crazy how that happens. i love it cause it home and my family is here and surrounding areas and home is where the heart is. but i hate it cause for me i cant expand and do what i really want to do. i cant do a lot of personal growth here cause it just doesnt suit the lifestyle that i want to live. i mean dont get me wrong its plenty of opportunity here but just not for what i want so i have to look else where. but ashevile will always be home and always where my heart is although is may not be there physically.

Overseas
Hello World,
So since a young boy i've always be fascinated with traveling. and as i got older my traveling destinations broaden very much. now instead of wanting to just hit up Atlanta i wanna hit up France and London and other European places. my cuz just came back from there for a two week trip and i saw her pics and i was inspired to just go there and stay for a while. i feel like its so much more to learn over there and experience. its a lovely city and wouldnt mind going with someone special, it would make it even better ya know. but i also wanna go to tokyo, china, and places over that way. i've always been into the style of places outside of the united states because they are so far ahead of us... but someday soon i will be the world traveler that i hope to be. who wanna join?

Hello World,
I bet i'm the only person with nothin to do on a friday night... yea bad bad bad. This time last week i was at TGI Friday's in Richmond with Shawty and her friend. That was mad fun cause it was mad people drunk just wylin having fun. aye thats whats life about right? so i guess i aint spending my life right at the moment... but maybe i am cause i'm writing thoughts that i have and sharing them with the world haha. But yea, I shoulda went out and just went on the town and chilled. Was really in the mood to look at houses and unique architecture. thats one of my fav things to do.but i was with the fam tonight and we were talkin about family trips, i suggested DC cause i had never been before so thats one thing i really wanna do. me and shawty made plans to go for christmas and i cant wait should be hella fun. but yea i should made another trip up to VA for the weekend, woulda been dope. i actually like it up there, something different and i like different things. plus she there so that make it all worthwhile haha. so with that i'ma be out..

Shawty!
well me and shawty been together for about 6 months now, but known each other for lil over a year and everything is going really good. we have our ups and downs but who doesnt. it hasnt broke us yet and thats the good thing. we may have a lot of distance physically between us cause she stay in VA and im in NC but thats the only distance there is. we connect on so many different levels and she look out for me just like i look out for her. put it more simply she more than a girlfriend more like my best friend cause she know everythng about me. she knows when i'm up she knowswhen i'm down and she know how to pick me up. just a lil something for her. just a kool read for her to read haha. os hope she likes and it puts a smile across her face and i wish i was there to see it :-)
Where You Been?

Its been a while since I last posted but i'm back and bout to keep up with this ...hopefully. But since last time i had been grinding. Work. Class. And tryna learn something new everyday is all my days have consisted of really. Nothing really exciting. Most excitement that I had this summer had be for the July 4th weekend. That weekend i made my first roadtrip by myself. Tripped up to richmond, va to see my shawty. She aint believe i was coming so i had to show her i was haha. but we spent a lot of time together catching up and went to VA beach. Hella good time i had there wish i was going back soon, might have to do so. but now its coming to the pont where school is right around the corner so i needa start getting back on my grind time so i be ready cause i know i am slack. School year should be very interesting and cant wait to see what new things it may hold. hopefully all goes well with class and plans that i have here and there and i should be in good shape. sooner or later this summer i'm going to geet the tattoos so stay tuned they should be a good look, i'll let you judge. but in the meantime yall catch me on twitter at twitter.com/BRYNJAMIN3000 and stay posted.

rip MJ you will truly be missed. i remember back in the day i would use a white sock cause i aint have a glove and try to moonwalk in my church socks in the kitchen. my moms would get mad at me but o well doesnt matter now haha. but those are just a few memories of how he impacted me. i know he impacted a lot just like me but yall got ya own stories, not tryna hear those hahaha.

Long Time Coming!!!!!
Its been a long time coming yo but i'm finally back and gettin into my blog. I havent had my focus here in a while but its gettin back there and hopefully keep some fresh and kool shyt up here... well at least things i like.
But since the last time i wrote here I have finished my freshman year at UNC-Charlotte. What a year, what a year to say the least. lot of good memories and a big growing and learning experience. on top of learning academics i feeel i learned a lot more about myself and my tolerances and found i dont tolerate a lot of BS... very short fused and qwik to lash out. well i'm tryna change this and hopefully i can. btw, finished out on the dean's list even though i felt like i did nothing this past semester but nonetheless i made it haha... but next year will definitely be a test on my aspects. and hopefully i have the mindset and strength to overcome all things so we'll see what happens...
This summer has been W A C K... so far just been working at my boring job doing much of nothing other than shredding papers and filing documents for other people. basically doing the stuff nobody else wants to do. but good thing i got my Berry and my ipod to get me thru the day or else i wouldnt be making it. but best believe that check is constant and i love it that the only good look to the job. Started taking my summer class, Public Speaking... 3hrs of class 2days a week is pretty wack but o well gotta grind it out. majority of everybody in my city is bored haha we should all do something boring together see how that works out. Currently still tryna get over this flu that i've had for the longest amount of time ever, wackest thing in the world mann hate it.
But i'm definitely gone keep upddated for now on... something to keep my spare time occupied.

KING Mag ends after 6 years. They had just released their 50th issue with Christina Millian on the cover. Now the magazine has gone out of business because of the economic problems. Dang, I thought Sex sells but I guess it aint making that much money anymore. What's the world coming to?

3:30am... NO SLEEP!
Hello World,
Mann its 3:30am and I wide awake. Can't beleieve it, I been tryna fall asleep for the last 2 hours and nothing has helped or worked. So I decided to come blog, and to take my mind off of things so that I may fall asleep. Where to start???
Well first off, its April Fools Day, April 1,2009. My first April Fools Day as a college student. Haha I know that has NO importance at all but its true. Maybe I can fool a couple of people or something before the day is over. I already know that tomorrow is going to be a unproductive day for the simple fact that I am not sleeping at this moment and have a class at 9:30am. Dang, this sucks. Haha. But on the real I have yet to actually find the meaning in some things and it confuses me. And that is part of the reason I am up at the moment. Just tryna clear my head of the nonsense that goes on arund me, and some that happens to me. My moms always said watch the company you keep. For the most part I have done pretty good with that. I don't hang around too many people here, I have always been like that since high school. And the people I do hang with I keep to a distance close enough to reach but far enough so that I can still do me. And with this freshman year coming to a close it has taught me more that I ever thought that it actually could. I thought I was coming to college for the educational portion but I have learned more about people around me and how they act than I actually have classwork. I don't think that's bad at all because in the real world you have to interact with people on a daily basis and If you feel like you can't understand how they function and work then how are you suppose to interact with that person or get close to that person?!?!? On another thought, sometimes I just sit and let my mind wonder. That's basically what I'm doing now. Just putting thoughts down that I have and releasing them so that my mind is clear. I do this before I make decisions. Cause you can't make important decisions on the fly or off instinct because those decisions will usually come back to bite you. Sometimes I need help clearing my mind and therefore I roll up. My best thoughts and ideas come to me when I am not "sober". But that's a whole other subject. But I'm starting to ramble and getting a lil sleepy now so I'ma try to go to sleep once again.

Fresh Start
Hello World,
Its been a while since I last came and spoke my mind. I been hella busy and don't even know where to start to begin. Last week was a good, productive week. I met with all my advisors and ended up changing my major to public health. I'm pretty happy with this decision and hopes that it goes well and pays off in the long run. I got in touch with my moms she signed me up for summer classes, so next spring I'll be a junior. That's progress. Also I had been slacking off a bit but I got back on my grind and got focused and now things are looking up for the better as far as classes go. Been studyng more often instead of cramming and it feels good. Also I been back on the court and working out tryna get back in beast mode. So I can absolutely say that last week was one of my best complete weeks so far and it keeps getting better everyday.
The weekend was crucial. Haha saturday was wild. Water fight, arguements, everything. But it was all good and fun. But best believe its still war tho cause we coming back even harder next time, we up on yall 2-0. But friday was weird. I was definitely out of my element for the whole day and it didn't feel right but I got over it so its good.
But now that this is a new week I got to stay on my grind... Like my dude Jeezy say "I'm tryna get that Boston George and Diego money and stack it all up like Lego money." That's my motto and that's what I'm tryna do. and like Malcolm X say "Any Means Necessary" is how I'ma get it and get whatever I need and want. So if you see my walking around with a serious face or something just know I'm focused.

Ty Lawson is BACK!!!
Hello World,
Carolina played another great game against LSU... Beat them by 13. EASY. And what made it even easier is the fact that TY LAWSON made his way back into the starting lineup. He went DUMB on LSU point blank. Dropped 20+, 6 assist, 0 turnovers on a strained big toe. That takes a lot of heart and strength but he had it and it showed. Just wait til he gets back into game shape and get his conditioning back up then its a wrap for everyone. NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. But first we gotta play Gonzaga.
On another note, Michagan took a L today but they played good and had a nice season. And my bracket starting to look a whole lot better.
But the day has been pretty good. Just been chillin catching the games and spending time with the lady. Lst night was fun, went bowling and got some food. Haha. Experiences at Waffle House are always better after 12am. But tomorrow I gotta get back on the grind and get to studying and do some homework and whatnot. Gotta finish the semester off on a strong note. But I'm out like Wake Forest in the first round.

Carolina played another great game against LSU... Beat them by 13. EASY. And what made it even easier is the fact that TY LAWSON made his way back into the starting lineup. He went DUMB on LSU point blank. Dropped 20+, 6 assist, 0 turnovers on a strained big toe. That takes a lot of heart and strength but he had it and it showed. Just wait til he gets back into game shape and get his conditioning back up then its a wrap for everyone. NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. But first we gotta play Gonzaga.
On another note, Michagan took a L today but they played good and had a nice season. And my bracket starting to look a whole lot better.
But the day has been pretty good. Just been chillin catching the games and spending time with the lady. Lst night was fun, went bowling and got some food. Haha. Experiences at Waffle House are always better after 12am. But tomorrow I gotta get back on the grind and get to studying and do some homework and whatnot. Gotta finish the semester off on a strong note. But I'm out like Wake Forest in the first round.

T.G.I.F.
Hello World,
Just waking up to another nice day, listening to some Kid Cudi to start my day off. Had a crazy funny kool day/night yesterday. As you all know my CAROLINA boys got the W... and also surprisingly Michigan won too. Shoutout to Gary on that one, he a big Michigan fan. So I made a bet with him that they would lose, but they won so if you see me walking around Lynch in a sombrero and a blanket asking for change just disregard it haha. But yea also with the tournament starting yesterday I was watching majority of the games. Needless to say my Brackets have busted for the first round so far.
Also the night was hella funny, iont think i've laughed that hard in a while yo. From the girls giving 10minute freestyle about nothing to the comb over pic... hahaha funny stuff mann. Didnt go to sleep til bout 4am, but it was worth it I needed some good laughs.
Today, is Friday. Friday's are always a chill day. Be lazy. Get little things taken care of. I think i'm study a lil bit and maybe try to getting into something tonight, catch a few laughs, get into a lil mischief maybe who knows. But i'm out like Clemson in the first round, DUECEZ

Just woke up, eating some Cheerios with no sugar. But today is going to be a good day, I can feel it. Yesterday I felt pretty accomplished. Got a lot done. Went to the gym, study hard, chilled with the Lady, posted my first blog. A lot of things. And a funny thing happened yesterday. While getting on the elevator this guy who I had gotten into a physical altercation with stepped on. Haha. Very awkward, and he stood right beside me. I think he was a afraid cause I heard his heart beating. But I didn't mess with him.
But today is the first day of NCAA March Madness and I'm ready. Carolina plays at 2:50. I got class at 3:30 so I'll only be catching a little of the first half but best believe I'll be following it on the BlackBerry. I also got two test today... Spanish and Hip Hop. Wack!!! Gotta get to class so Duecez!

But with Ty Lawson not being able to play the first game and maybe not the 2nd game Carolina has to put their trust in freshman guard Larry Drew II. I aint got a problem with that, just hope he's focused and slows the ball down a little because sometimes he moves too fast for his own good and loses control. But I also like Pitt... Pitts nice.
Also think that this may be the year that all four #1 seeds can make it to the Final Four... I mean why not??? Anythings possible, remember we got a Black President and they said that would never happen!!!
